Meet Scott

Scott Green, REALTOR®

46+ years guiding buyers, sellers, and families across the Valley — with deep roots in the homes surrounding Porter Valley Country Club and Knollwood Country Club.

Scott Green has been serving buyers and sellers throughout the San Fernando Valley since 1980. With more than 46 years of real estate experience and over 1,200 families served, he is known for his deep market knowledge, strong negotiation skills, and highly personalized approach. His expertise spans the San Fernando Valley, with especially deep roots in Porter Ranch and Granada Hills. Scott believes real estate is about more than a transaction — it is about building trust, protecting his clients’ interests, and creating relationships that last for generations.

One of the most meaningful aspects of Scott’s career is the multi-generational relationships he has built throughout more than four decades in the San Fernando Valley. He has had the opportunity to represent buyers and sellers at the same address two or even three different times as properties have changed hands over the years. He has also helped the children of former clients — some of whom he first knew when they were young — become homeowners, buyers, and sellers themselves.

★★★★★

“I first met Scott in 1988, he sold our current home in Porter Ranch to us. Even though we currently aren’t selling our home I reached out once again to Scott to go over the current selling process. Scott’s vast knowledge, professionalism and follow up is truly amazing. While looking at the house Scott pointed out projects that could be done to peak a buyer’s interest in the house. Steps were pointed out before a listing and through the listing process on interacting with potential buyers and realtors. The escrow process was also discussed in detail. Once again Scott’s experience and vast knowledge of the real estate market is impressive to say the least. Thank you Scott.”

Frequently Asked Questions

You can reach me directly at 818-402-9542 or by email at scottgreen4realestate@gmail.com.

I am a licensed REALTOR® with Park Regency Realty in Northridge, California.

My office is located at Park Regency Realty, 9275 Corbin Avenue, Northridge, CA 91324.

Yes. I am licensed by the California Department of Real Estate. You can verify my license by searching CalDRE license number 00772969 through the department's public license lookup.

I have served buyers and sellers throughout the San Fernando Valley since 1980, giving me more than 46 years of continuous real estate experience.

Throughout my career, I have completed more than 1,200 real estate transactions, helping generations of buyers and sellers achieve their real estate goals.

I combine more than 46 years of local experience with honest guidance, skilled negotiation, and personal attention. In addition to completing more than 1,200 transactions, I have mentored more than 200 real estate professionals. My business is built on integrity and relationships that often continue across generations.

My deepest expertise is in Porter Ranch, Granada Hills, and Northridge, including the communities surrounding Porter Valley Country Club and Knollwood Golf Course. I also serve Chatsworth, North Hills, Mission Hills, Reseda, Winnetka, West Hills, Woodland Hills, Tarzana, Encino, Sherman Oaks, Studio City, and other Valley communities.

Homes north of Rinaldi are often associated with established neighborhoods, larger homes and lots in certain pockets, attractive surroundings, convenient access, and proximity to Knollwood Golf Course. However, location alone does not determine value. Street location, condition, lot size, floor plan, improvements, privacy, and buyer demand all influence how a particular home performs.

An average reflects only the homes that sold during a specific period. If several larger or highly upgraded properties close, the average may rise; if more modest homes sell, it may decline. I use averages as a starting point and then evaluate recent sales, active and pending listings, buyer activity, property condition, lot size, improvements, privacy, and the home's individual features.

An online estimate can analyze data, but it cannot see the natural light inside your home, the privacy of your backyard, the quality of your improvements, or the character of your particular street. My knowledge comes from decades of walking these neighborhoods, studying property values, meeting homeowners, and observing what buyers value from one street—and one home—to another.

Not necessarily. A golf course setting can attract buyer attention, but value also depends on the view, privacy, lot orientation, natural light, proximity to golf activity, noise, property condition, floor plan, improvements, and presentation. The right strategy identifies the home's advantages, anticipates potential concerns, and positions it for the buyers most likely to appreciate it.

Because real estate is personal, and genuine neighborhood knowledge cannot be developed entirely from behind a computer. By walking the streets and speaking directly with homeowners, I stay connected to the people, properties, and changes within the communities I serve. After 46 years, I still believe trust is built one conversation—and one door—at a time.

Yes. I guide first-time buyers through every stage of the process, including financial preparation, the home search, writing an offer, negotiations, inspections, appraisal, and closing.

No. You can browse available listings throughout the San Fernando Valley without creating an account.

I analyze comparable sales, the property's condition, current competition, and overall market activity. My job is to help you submit a strong, well-structured offer while making an informed decision about the property's value and your financial limits.

Yes. I help new-construction buyers understand builder contracts, available options, timelines, inspections, and the importance of having independent representation throughout the process.

Yes. I help investors evaluate residential opportunities based on location, property value, market conditions, resale potential, and their short- and long-term objectives.

Yes. I am honored to assist active-duty military members, veterans, and their families with buying, selling, and relocating. When VA financing is involved, I coordinate closely with experienced lenders.

Yes. I can manage the sale of your local home and connect you with an experienced and trusted real estate professional in your destination market, providing knowledgeable representation on both sides of your move.

Yes. I represent clients across a wide range of residential price points, including luxury and multimillion-dollar properties. Every client receives the same personal attention, discretion, and experienced representation.

Yes. I offer a complimentary, no-obligation home value consultation and comparative market analysis based on your property, neighborhood, recent sales, and current market conditions. This professional market analysis is not a formal appraisal.

My approach combines careful preparation, accurate pricing, strategic positioning, professional marketing, fact-based negotiation, and consistent communication. Every recommendation is made with the seller's goals and best interests in mind.

I create a marketing strategy based on the property, its location, and its ideal buyer. This includes professional presentation, compelling online exposure, communication with local real estate professionals, and a carefully planned showing and negotiation strategy.

I begin with a personalized walk-through and identify the improvements that could make the greatest difference. Not every home needs expensive renovations. Strategic repairs, decluttering, cleaning, staging, and better presentation can often significantly improve a buyer's first impression.

Yes. I develop a coordinated strategy based on your finances, timing, current property, and next-home goals. I explain the available options and help structure both transactions to reduce uncertainty and avoid unnecessary pressure.

I help my clients distinguish between material concerns, maintenance items, and cosmetic requests. We evaluate each request based on the inspection findings, contract terms, property condition, and market circumstances. A repair request is not automatically a repair bill.

I am the lead REALTOR® and listing agent of Scott Green Real Estate Group at Park Regency Realty. I remain personally involved in the strategy, communication, and negotiation of each transaction, with support from a transaction coordinator and buyer's agent when appropriate.
